USING THE TV'S FEATURES

Additional Features

• With the Sleep Timer, the TV will automatically switch to standby mode at a preset time.
• You can lock the contol buttons on the TV to prevent your settings from being changed accidentally (by
children, for example). When the Panel Lock is On, no control buttons on the TV panel will operate except
POWER.

To set the Sleep Timer/To lock the buttons on the TV

To turn off the TV automatically (Sleep Timer)
Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu
Press MENU and press

to highlight the
Special menu.
Press P to highlight

Sleep Timer.
Press to determine

the time before the TV
switches to standby mode.
The time can be set from 0
to 120 minutes in steps of
15 minutes increment.
Note:
When an instant power failure occurs, the sleep timer
setting may be cleared.
To cancel the Sleep Timer
Press twice (to turn off the TV once and turn it on again)
or in step 3 above set Sleep Timer to 0 minute.
To lock the buttons on the TV panel (Panel Lock)
Press MENU and press

to highlight the
Special menu.

Press P to highlight
Panel Lock.
3 Press to select On.
To unlock the TV panel
Select Off in step 3 above.
