    It is even more important for processors that have high CPU clock rates. The X7DB3 can only accommodate 24-pin ATX power supplies. Although most power supplies generally meet the specifi cations required by the CPU, some are inadequate. In addition, the 12V 4-pin power supply - is also required to ensure adequate power supply to the system.

  • Page 67 Chapter 4: BIOS Memory Cache Cache System BIOS Area This setting allows you to designate a reserve area in the system memory to be used as a System BIOS buffer to allow the BIOS to write (cache) data into this reserved memory area.
