with your backup copies of the TPM content.
Slots for expansion cards
The server can be flexibly expanded via six low profile PCIe Gen3 low profile
adapters (4 PCIe x8, 2 PCIe x16).
One horizontal chassis slot is occupied by the dynamic LOM card.
Hard disk drives - 3.5-inch
The server is available in the following drive configurations:
4*3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives connected to SATA 1-4 onboard:
up to four HDD modules, each with a 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drive with
a maximum height of 1 inch. One slot for an optional 3.5-inch ODD drive.
8*3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives connected to SAS RAID controller:
up to eight HDD modules, each with a 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drive
with a maximum height of 1 inch. One slot for an optional 3.5-inch ODD
drive.
12*3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives connected to SAS RAID controller:
up to twelve HDD modules, each with a 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drive
with a maximum height of 1 inch.
The HDD modules are connected to the SAS/SATA backplane without cables.
This allows HDD modules to be simply plugged in or pulled out (for further
details see the "FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY RX2540 M1 Server Upgrade and
Maintenance Manual").
If the server has a RAID configuration, the HDD modules can be exchanged
during operation (hot-swap).
Hard disk drives - 2.5-inch
The server is available in the following drive configurations:
8*2.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives connected to SATA 1-4 onboard:
up to eight HDD modules, each with a 2.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drive
with a maximum height of 1 inch. One 5.25-inch bay for an optional ODD
and/or LTO or RDX drive.
