1. 2.5 Aerial noise In the workplace the noise level of 70Db (A) is not usually exceeded. 2.6 Vibrations Th machines are fitted with anti-vibration rubber feet. In normal conditions of use vibrations which might be harmful to the operator or the environment are not generated.
4. CONDITIONS TO AVOID The machines in the Sofia range have been designed and built for the preparation of espresso coffee and other hot drinks. Any other use is deemed improper and hazardous. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons or things resulting from improper, incorrect or unsuitable use of the machine.
5. TRANSPORT 5.1 Packaging The machine is supplied in a single, cardboard box with internal protection in polystyrene. The conventional symbols to observe during transport or storage of the box are shown on the outside. Always move with the box in a vertical position, do no t overturn or lay on its side, proceed with caution, avoiding collisions and protecting from bad weather.
6. INSTALLATION The machines are provided with feet which can be adjusted in height, make sure that they adjustment is the same for all four feet. The counter that the machine is supported by should be perfectly level, dry, strong, stable and at least 110 cm off the floor.

In both cases fit a differential switch complete with magnetic release mechanisms compatible with the data shown on the identification plate of the machine upstream of the power supply. The contacts must have an opening equal to or superior to 3 mm. Remember, each machine must have its own safety devices.

10. Maintenance Unless otherwise indicated all maintenance operations should be performed with the machine turned off, cooled down and unplugged. The use of metallic or abrasive instruments and solvents for cleaning the machine is advised against: they could damage it. Where indicated, use specific detergents for coffee machines, on sale in specialised service centres.
