    1. INTRODUCTION This installation, operation, and maintenance manual is designed to help you achieve the best performance and longest life from your Summit Pump models 2196, 2196- LF, 2196-R, and 2796. This pump is an open impeller, centrifugal model with end suction / top discharge.

    Immediately upon arrival, carefully inspect the pump for evidence of damage during transit. Immediately report any damage to your Summit Pump Distributor. STORING THE PUMP Store the pump in a clean dry place. Do not remove piping connection covers.
