Overheating
OVERHEATING
If the water reaches a temperature of over 77º C for any reason, the overheating safe-
ty device will stop the dishwasher, and the buzzer will sound as follows:

Pause 7 sec.
sively.
This indicates error code F5.
In this case the error will be located in the ELECTRONIC CARD.
If this occurs, it indicates that the heating element must be working correctly, and it
would also be extremely unusual for an NTC not to have already detected tempera-
tures of 45, 55 or 65 ºC (which would be the temperatures the wash program would
continue at) if it consequently detected a temperature of 77ºC.
Basically this would mean that the NTC temperature reading is correct, but the elec-
tronic card cannot read it.
Another possibility could be that the NTC is detecting the control temperatures, but
the card relay has become stuck and as a result the appliance is heating up continuo-
usly and the NTC is detecting 77ºC. However, as the relay forms part of the electronic
card, the diagnosis would be the same.
Also, even if there is a break in the NTC wiring or installation, an NTC error can be
ruled out, as if this was the case its own defect code, i.e. "NTC failure", would be indi-
cated. The same would apply if there was a defective contact in the card.
