To install the Scale Control, first follow part A through C of the Quooker tank installation guide. Proceed with steps 2 and 3 of part B1, B2 or B3 (corresponding to the type of Quooker tank) of this guide. - Page 4 • Test the water hardness with the test kit as described below to determine the Scale Control setting and the cartridge lifespan. • For use with a PRO3-VAQ the Scale Control setting should always be maximum, regardless of your water hardness.
