Replacement
DUCT
The air cleaner element is inside the
air cleaner housing on the passenger's
side of the engine compartment.
To replace it:
1. Remove the air intake duct by
pulling it straight out.
2. Loosen the nuts on the battery
hold-down bracket and push the
bracket away from the air cleaner.
Air Cleaner Element (4 Cylinder Models)
BOLTS
3. Loosen the four bolts and remove
the air cleaner housing cover.
4. Remove the old air cleaner
element.
Clean the inside of the air cleaner
housing with a damp rag.
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
5. Place the new air cleaner element
in the air cleaner housing.
6. Reinstall the air cleaner housing
cover and the duct, tighten the
four bolts.
7. Reinstall the battery hold-down
bracket and tighten the nuts.
