8.20. Rectification for Tape Jam
Problem
Note : If a cassette tape cannot be removed from the deck (the
tape is caught by the capstan or pinch roller during playback or
recording).
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 6) of Item 8.3
Step 1 : Rotate the Flywheel F in the direction of the arrow to
remove it.
Step 2 : Push the Lever pward and open the Cassette Lid.
Note : Follow Disassembly of Cassette Lid. Remove the
Cassette Tape.

• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 6) of Item 8.3
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 13) of Item 8.4
Step 1 : Upset the Mechanism Unit.
Step 2 : Desolder 4 solder points.
Step 3 : Remove 3 screws.
