Outdoor unit doesn't operate.

How to check mis-wiring and serial signal error

P
Rectify the wiring.
Correct the mis-wiring.
Turn OFF the Power supply. Check by using Checking Mode.
1 1 Disconnect indoor/outdoor wiring (at indoor terminal blocks
2 2 Short circuit between indoor terminal blocks 1 1 and 3 3 . Turn ON the Power supply.
3 3 While pressing OPERATION SELECT button on remote controller, press RESET button on remote controller.
(LCD on remote controller displays all signs.)
Replace the indoor electronic
control P.C. board.
Replace the outdoor electronic
control P.C. board.
L61(REACTOR), DS61(DIODESTACK),
C61(POWER FACTOR CAPACITOR) or
C63(SMOOTHING CAPACITOR) is
defective.
Before the unit resumes normal operation.
•Release the checking mode by pressing RESET button on the remote controller, and then send the unit signal to stop operation.
•Turn OFF the power supply to indoor/outdoor units.
•Get indoor terminal blocks 1 1 and 3 3 opened, and re-connect indoor/ outdoor wiring.
Start
Turn OFF the power supply.
Turn ON the power supply.

Is the power voltage to terminal blocks of
indoor/outdoor units normal?
Turn ON the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
(any mode possible)
After 3 minutes that power supply has
been turned on, does the compressor
start operating?
No
Is the terminal blocks 1 1 and 3 3 on the
indoor unit properly connected to their
counter parts on outdoor unit?
1 1 and 3 3 )
Press OPERATE/STOP(ON/OFF) button on the
remote controller to send signal.
Make sure the unit emits a beep tone.
No
Does the OPERATION INDICATOR
lamp on the indoor unit flash on?
Yes
Is there 294/325V DC between TAB P(+)
and TAB N(-) on the outdoor electronic
control P.C. board?
No
Is resistance 294/325V DC to both
terminals of smoothing capacitor?
Replace the outdoor electronic control P.C.board.

Be sure to turn OFF the power supply to
indoor/outdoor units in replacing P.C. board.
