CONTROLS
BEFORE YOU RIDE
– Familiarize yourself with the controls located on the "T"
handle. The left-hand lever operates the brakes
rear-wheel, anti-skid dynamic brake (located in the motor) and continued pressure
engages the front-wheel caliper brake. The right-hand lever operates the throttle/

speed
control to accelerate. Gently squeeze the throttle lever, and continue
adding pressure until desired speed is achieved.
·
Remove your "T" handle from the "T" handle-hook, and extend it upright
until the handle-lock tube locks into place.
·
Be certain the sliding handle lock tube is in its full down position, locking
the handlebar upright. The handle latch hooks the motor casing to hold
the handle in the folded position for carrying or for storage.
·
Included in your Owner's Packet, you should have received a Go-Key®.
This key acts as an On / Off switch that upon insertion into the Go-Key®
receptacle turns your Go-Ped® on. This is indicated by the red LED on
B3
the end of the Go-Key®.
Note: Please read and understand the disclaimers attached to the Go-Key®
before inserting it into the Go-Key® receptacle. These instructions are important
so please do not remove them.
·
Each insertion of the Go-Key® into the vehicle is an independent promise
by the rider to be responsible for his/her own safety.
·
Please remove the Go-Key® anytime your Go-Ped® is not in use or
before folding your "T" handle down.
Note: The Go-Key® is also a safety off switch. In case of emergency, the Go-
Key® can be removed and the Go-Ped® motor will cease operation.

TIPS
BEFORE YOU RIDE
- Thoroughly inspect the unit for loose or damaged parts
before each use. Do not use until adjustments or repairs are made. Position your
feet in any location that is comfortable to you. Most prefer a parallel stance with
the left leg slightly behind the right and bearing most of the weight while bending
your knees. When accelerating or climbing hills you will need to lean forward a
little to keep the front wheel on the ground. Under hard braking conditions you will
need to lean back to keep the rear-wheel on the ground.
SCOOTING CAN BE
an environmentally useful, safe, and fun way of reducing
traffic congestion.
DO NOT
make changes or modifications to your scooter which can make your
scooter act in an unsafe manner.
