General safety instructions When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. - Page 4 Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Assembling the appliance Unpack all the components. Take the lower legs (1) and insert one connecter (2) onto the top of each leg. Make sure the connecter is pushed all the way down. Also make sure that the thick end of the connector is pointing down towards the ground, and the ‘elbow’... -

Operational instructions Ensure that the water level in the aluminium reflector tray is between the minimum and maximum marks. Water is required to reflect heat and minimise the amount of smoke produced during the cooking process. Switch the appliance on and set the temperature using the control dial. The appliance will heat up automatically until the selected temperature is reached. -

Never immerse the plug, power cable, heating element or the thermostat in any liquids. These parts must only be wiped with a dry cloth. The grill rack can be cleaned with a soft brush. Tip: After grilling let the grill rack cool down and then cover it with damp tea towels and let it soak for 30-60 minutes. -
