Liquid damage
Problem

Caution:
L To avoid permanent damage, do not use a microwave oven to speed up the drying process.
Registering a handset to the base unit

Handset:

Base unit:
Press and hold {x} for about 5 seconds. (No registration tone)
L If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat this
step. (KX-TG2512)
L The next step must be completed within 90 seconds.

Handset:

L If you forget your PIN, contact an authorised service centre.
L When the handset has been registered successfully, w stops flashing.

Cause/solution
L Disconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord
from the base unit. Remove the batteries from the
handset and leave to dry for at least 3 days. After
the handset/base unit are completely dry,
reconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord.
Insert the batteries and charge fully before use. If
the unit does not work properly, contact an
authorised service centre.
