MAINTENANCE Regular Maintenance NOTICE Do not apply paint, anti-corrosive sealant or contact spray to coating or plastic parts of the equipment. Those items contain organic solvents that can damage coating and plastic parts, especially plastic connectors. • Confirm that the power terminal and ground terminal are securely fastened and clean. If a ter- minal is corroded, remove the corrosion with a wire brush.
3. MAINTENANCE Self Test Confirm that the ribbon cartridge and roll paper are correctly set then turn off the printer. Press the LF/FF key while turning on the power switch. After the self-test has begun, release the LF/FF key. The printer is normal if the print out shown below is printed. To stop the self test, turn off the power switch.
