Sets a password and playback linlitation
level for DVDs with playback limitation for
children. For details, see "Eimniting playback
for children (Parental Control)" (page 58).
Gives the sound track having Ihe highest
number of channels priority when you play
a DVD on which multiple audio formats
(PCM, MPEG audio, DTS, or Dolby Digital
fornlat) are recorded.
s When you set the item to "AUTO," the language
may change. The "TRACK SELECTICXV setting
has higher priority than the "'AUDIO" aetthlgs in
"'LANGUAGE SETUP" (page 67).
a If PCM, DTS, MPEG audio. 'and Dolby Digital
sound tracks have the same number of channels, the
system selects PCM, DTS, Dolby Digital. and
MPEG audio sound tracks in this order.
0 Depending on the DVD, the audio channel with
priority may be predetermined. In this case, you
cannot give priority to the DTS, Dolby Digital, OL
MPEG audio format by selecting "'AUTO."
To obtain the best possible s~ound sound,
set the size of thne speakers you have
connected and their distance crorx~ your
listening position. l'hen use the test tom2 to
adjust the voiurue and the
balance of the
speakers to the sanle level.
Select "SPEAKEI< SB%'UP" in the setup
display. For details, see '"Wsingr the Setup
Display" @ape 66).
The default
settings are ~r~derlined.
Select
the
i&m. then press CZBAR.
Wheu you do not connect ceuter 0% rear
speakers, or move the rear speakers, set the
paramneters for CENTER and FZEAR. Since
the front speaker and
subwoofer
settings are
fixed, you cLamlot change them. The default
seltiugs are underlined.
