Lock screen options
You can enable/disable or turn On/Off various Lock screen
options.
1. From the Settings screen, touch Lock screen.
2. The following options are available depending on the
Screen Lock type that you select:
Swipe options:
• Multiple widgets: allows you to display multiple widgets on
your lock screen. Appears as an options after a lock mode is
enabled.
• Clock widget options: allows you to show the dual clock on
the lock screen, adjust the Clock size, and show the date.
• Shortcuts: Touch
lock screen On or Off.
Touch Shortcuts to choose shortcuts to display at the bottom
of the Lock screen.
• Personal message: Touch
message text at the top of the lock screen On or Off.
Touch Personal message to Edit personal information.
• Owner information: When enabled, allows you to enter text to
display on the Lock screen.

• Unlock effect: sets the effect you receive when unlocking the
device. You can select None or Light effect.
• Ink effect: When enabled, an ink effect shows on the lock
screen when you touch the screen. If you choose a live
wallpaper for the lock screen, the ripple effect is disabled.
• Wake up in lock screen: Touch
unlocking by spoken wake-up command.
Touch Wake up in lock screen to configure wake-up
commands, to be used when the Wake up in lock screen
option is enabled. You can configure commands to wake up the
device, or other popular features.
• Action Memo on lock screen: When enabled, allows you to
open the Action Memo app when double tapping the lock
screen with S Pen.
• Help text: Touch to enable or disable display of tips to help you
use the lock screen.
