Wi-Fi
Set up and manage your device's connections to Wi-Fi
networks. Your device supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n.
For more information about using Wi-Fi, see "Wi-Fi" on
page 147.
Turning Wi-Fi On or Off
Turn your device's Wi-Fi service on or off. When you turn Wi-
Fi service on, your device automatically searches for
available Wi-Fi networks.
Tip: You can also turn Wi-Fi On or Off from Notifications.
From the Settings screen, touch Wi-Fi

1. From the Settings screen, touch Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi screen
2. If Wi-Fi is Off, touch Wi-Fi
3. Touch settings to configure:

Note: Wi-Fi must be turned on to configure settings.
• Notify me: When enabled, your device notifies you of Wi-Fi
networks when you launch a high data-usage application.
• Add Wi-Fi Network: Connect to a new Wi-Fi network. For
more information, see "Adding a Wi-Fi Network Manually"
on page 148.
• Scan: Search for available Wi-Fi networks.
• Wi-Fi Direct: Configure a Wi-Fi Direct connection.
