Get Started
Obtaining service for your phone
Contact Verizon Wireless and follow their instructions for
obtaining service, if necessary. We suggest that you read this
guide to fully understand the services your phone supports.
Turn your phone on
Fully extend the antenna for the clearest reception, then

open the flip.
Press and hold

As with any other radio-transmitting device, do not touch the
antenna as it affects call quality and may cause the phone to
operate at a higher power level than is necessary.

Once the phone finds a signal, the time, date, and day

You're now ready to place and receive calls.

If the phone is outside of your carrier's coverage or roaming

Turn your phone off

Press and hold
powers off.
If your phone is on and you press
second, the phone will not power off. This prevents your
phone from being turned off accidentally.
