Switch input methods
To switch input methods, press and hold
space key repeatedly until the symbol for the desired input
method is displayed.
Find items
To find a name, file, or application, use the search field, if
available in the application.
1 To search for an item, write text in the search field. The
device starts to search for matching items. The more text
you write, the more accurate the search result is. To write
text, use the input methods available in your device. The
current input method indicator is shown in the search
field.
2 To open the found item, select the item.

Handwriting
The input methods and languages supported by the
handwriting recognition vary by region and may not be
available for all languages.
To activate handwriting mode, select
Write legible, upright characters on the text input area, and
leave a space between each character.

To teach the device your handwriting style, select
Handwriting
, and press the
languages.
To enter letters and numbers (default mode), write words as
you would normally. To select number mode, select
enter non-Latin characters, select the corresponding icon, if
available.
To enter special characters, write them as you would
normally, or select
To delete characters or move the cursor back, swipe
backwards (see Figure 1).
To insert a space, swipe forwards (see Figure 2).
