Interior Lamps

Overhead Lamps: The overhead lamp
switch, located on the dome lamp, can
be set to three positions: Off, On or
Door Open. In the Door Open position,
the dome lamp (or reading lamps,
depending on equipment) will come on
when any of the doors are opened.
When you enter or exit your car through
the driver's door, the interior lamp(s) will
stay on for a short time after the doors
have been closed.
Interior Lamp Brightness: To adjust
the brightness of the interior lamps, turn
the dial on the left side of the instrument
panel (A).
Map Lights (if equipped): The map light
switches are located under the rearview
mirror.
Rear Reading Lamps (if equipped): The
rear reading lamps are located on the
dome lamp. Press the lamp to turn it on
and off.
Note: If you leave a door open and the
interior lamps are on, the lamps will turn
off after 20 minutes to protect the
battery.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.
