Removal steps of the optical drive for L430 models
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Battery pack" on page 62
• "1020 Bottom door" on page 63

Remove the screw that secures the optical drive.

Press the edge of the optical drive outwards, using the tip of a thin screwdriver as shown in the following
illustration 2 , and then pull out the optical drive
