The term "power tool" in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

    OPERATION SELECTING THE BLADE For best performance, longer blade life, and smoother cut, select the proper blade for the job.   • Page 11 ROTATABLE GEAR HOUSING ADJUSTMENT DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER SOURCE. 1. The variable angle reciprocating saw is designed with a rotatable gear housing for easy adjustment of cutting angle. This feature permits access to places where conventional tools cannot be used. 2.
  • Page 12 PIVOTING GUIDE SHOE ADJUSTMENT with keyless Quik-Change ™ DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER SOURCE. DO NOT OPERATE THE TIGER SAW ® WITH THE GUIDE SHOE REMOVED. The Model 750 is supplied with a keyless Quik-Change ™ guide shoe. The pivoting guide shoe (A) Fig. 10, serves as a rest while making a cut and it can be adjusted to accommodate many types of cutting applications.
  • Page 13 HOW TO HOLD SAW The metal parts of the saw, blade and pivoting guide shoe may be made live if the blade cuts into live wiring within a wall. To prevent accidental electrical shock the tool must be held as shown in Fig. 13 or Fig.14, and have the rubber front housing cover properly installed and NOT DAMAGED.
  • Page 14 TO START AND STOP SAW Make sure swicth is off and power circuit voltage is the same as shown on the specification plate on the saw. Connect saw to power circuit. Hold saw firmly (see Fig. 13 or Fig.14). Squeeze trigger switch (A) Fig. 15, to start motor.
  • Page 15 PLUNGE CUTS The variable angle reciprocating saw can be used for plunge cutting wood, plywood, wallboard, and plastic materials. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PLUNGE CUT METAL. Clearly mark line of cut on the work. Grasp front housing with one hand and rear handle with the other hand.

MAINTENANCE KEEP TOOL CLEAN Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air. All plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
