STEP 3: Buckle the harness by inserting one buckle
tongue (#9) at a time into the buckle until a "click"
sound is heard.
STEP 4: Fasten the chest clip (#11) by sliding the two
halves together until a "click" sound is heard.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the chest clip (#11) is locked
and adjusted to the child's arm-pit level.
STEP 5: Tighten the harness straps until they are snug around your child's
lap and body.
WARNING
• Snugly adjust the harness of the Doona Car Seat around
your child. A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies
in a relatively straight line without sagging. It does not
press on the child's flesh or push the child's body into an
unnatural position.
• The shoulder straps must be routed through the shoulder
strap slots that are at the same height or just below the
child's shoulders.
• Simple Parenting recommends always using the shoulder
strap pads provided with the Doona Car Seat. Shoulder
strap pads should be located on top of your child shoulders.
