5.5 Video ma trix KS VM 164
5.5.1 Connection
5.5.1.1 Cable
The communication cable is standard, as described in § Standard connection cable, page 8.
5.5.1.2 Matrix settings
The matrix KS VM 164 can be controlled by different types of keyboard and therefore emulates the respective
protocols: to control the switcher with the KS KBK keyboard the MACRO protocol with baud rate 38400 should
be used.
Set the dip switches in the matrix as required (all dips are OFF, with the exception of Macro Protocol, baud rate
38400, programming).
5.5.1.3 Keyboard set tings
While the keyboard is being set up, the

The presence of a maximum of four keyboards connected to the matrix means it is necessary to define a
different identification number for each one (from 1 to 4).
