    Before using the appliance  Run clean water through the appliance to remove any dirt. This can be done by filling the water reservoir with water, plugging in the appliance to the mains and pressing the on/off button. The red brewing light will now come on. Wait till all the water has passed through the machine and empty the tempered glass bowl.
