Page 2: Factory Default
Factory Default • To Factory Default the WAP‐300BGN or WRT‐300BGN, Power on and wait for unit to finish booting up. Then Press & Hold the Reset/WPS button on the back of the unit for ~ 12 seconds (until the POWER LED starts BLINKING Fast) then Release the Reset/WPS button. Unit will reset and now be at factory default. Note: If the Power LED does not start blinking fast, disconnect all Ethernet cables and repeat process. - Page 3 Universal Repeater Mode Configuration Assign an IP address of 192.168.2.5 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 to your PC . Connect an Ethernet cable from your PC to a LAN port on the WAP-300BGN (Wireless Access Point). ‐ Note: After configuration In Repeater Mode the Ethernet port should only be used to access the WAP‐300BGN’s management and not as a LAN port !
- Page 4 Open Browser, enter 192.168.2.1 in the address bar and press Enter. Login username = admin, Password = 1234, Then Click OK.

- Page 7 Click the down arrow to the right of Mode and Select “Universal Repeater”...
- Page 8 Select Site Survey...
- Page 9 Select which Access Point you want to repeat.
- Page 10 After selecting an AP, Click Connection.
- Page 11 Change Main ESSID from default to desired ESSID, Then Click Apply...
- Page 12 Click Continue...
- Page 13 Click Security...
- Page 14 Click the down arrow to the right of Encryption and Select Encryption type same as on AP selected in Site Survey.
- Page 15 For WPA & WPA2 Select Mixed Mode, Next Select Passphrase or Hex (64 characters)
- Page 16 Enter Pre‐Shared Key, Next Click Apply...
- Page 17 Click Continue...
- Page 18 Click System Utility...
- Page 19 Assign an IP Address, Subnet Mask & Gateway.
- Page 20 Scroll down and Click Apply...
- Page 21 Click OK...
- Page 22 Click APPLY...
- Page 23 System has saved configuration & is Restarting.
- Page 24 Click OK...
- Page 25 Repeater Mode setup is Complete. You can now change your IP Address back on your PC. ...
- Page 26 To reconnect to the WAP‐300BGN, Connect a PC with the correct IP Address to the LAN port of the WAP‐300BGN. Then Open a Brower to the address assigned to it & login.
