USING THE AIR CONDITIONER To operate the air conditioner: Set the thermostat to the highest number (coldest or cooler setting). Set the selector control to the highest COOL setting. Adjust the louvers for comfortable air fl ow. Once the room has cooled, adjust the thermostat to the setting you fi nd most comfortable. Note: If the air conditioner is turned off, wait three minutes before restarting. -

AIR CONDITIONER FEATURES Control features in this manual are representative of many available models. Your model may offer slightly different features. Your unit will have one of the two touch pads shown below. Touch Pad Remote Control (some models, see additional manual) Note: The following instructions refer to the Touch Pad. - Page 6 AIR CONDITIONER FEATURES (con’t) TO USE AUTO TEMP FEATURE Press AUTO TEMP. The fan defaults to high speed and adjusts to slower speeds as the room temperature cools. The fan speeds will readjust back to the slowest speed as the room returns to the original temperature. Press either the FAN SLOWER or FAN FASTER button to manually adjust the fan speed.
- Page 7 AIR CONDITIONER FEATURES (con’t) SLEEP FEATURE Press SLEEP. In this mode, the selected temperature will increase by 2°F 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2°F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature.
