3. Troubleshooting Why does the display show “resolution not supported” The AC551A is not a scaler or scan converter. This means that the resolution of the video signal at the HDMI output is the same as the input signal. If you connect the input to a DVD player’s component output of 480i, 480p, 720p or 1080i, the HDMI output will be the same. -
