BATTERY INSTALLATION (batteries are not supplied)

Loosen the screw to open
the battery compartment
cover.
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult.
2. Do not mix old and new batteries.
3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
5. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
6. Exhausted batteries are to be removed.
7. Only batteries of the equivalent type are to be used.
8. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
9. Do not dispose of batteries in fire; batteries may explode.
