Note that the Pin 1 of SIMM module must match with the Pin 1 of SIMM socket when the DRAM SIMM module is installed. Insert the DRAM SIMM module into the SIMM socket at 45 degree angle. If there is a wrong direction of Pin 1, the DRAM SIMM module couldn't be inserted into socket completely.

    GA-586S2 3.8. SPEAKER CONNECTOR INSTALLATION There is always a speaker in AT system for sound purpose. The 4 - Pins connector SPK is used to connect speaker. The speaker can work well in both direction of connector when it is installed to the connector SPK on mainboard.

    Specification 3.13. GREEN FUNCTION INSTALLATION There are two jumpers for the purpose of power saving, GN and GD, to indicate the power saving function . The GD is a indicator (green LED) for green function. If the green LED is OFF, the system is in normal operation. If the green LED is blinking, the system is in green mode.
