Protective circuit The protective circuit is provided to prevent damage to the speakers and the amplifier. If it is activated, the
PROTECT LED will light up:
1. Approximately one second after switching on (soft start).
2. If the amplifier is overheated, or if a short circuit has occurred at a speaker output, the CLIP LED of the corresponding channel
lights up. If this is the case or if the PROTECT LED lights up during the operation or if it is not extinguished after switching on, the
amplifier must be switched off and the cause for the defect needs to be eliminated.

Output modes Each Kam KXR Pro power amplifier has different output modes.
Stereo mode sends the signal from each channel to the corresponding audio output (e.g. channel A input > channel A output).
Bridge mode sends both A and B channels to a single audio output, thus doubling the output voltage of the amplifier. Ensure that
the speaker connected to the bridge output of the amplifier is able to handle this increased voltage and is the correct impedance.
Parallel mode (if applicable) creates a mono signal which doubles the output current of the amplifier which increases the output
impedance. As above ensure that the speaker connected to the bridge output of the amplifier is able to handle this increased voltage
and is the correct impedance.
The Kam KXR Pro2000 is able to switch between Stereo mode and Bridge mode.
The Kam KXR Pro4000 is able to switch between Stereo, Bridge and Parallel modes.
IMPORTANT due to the high power output of the Kam KXR Pro amplifiers, the mains cable supplied is of a heavier guage than
standard IEC cables. Only use the cable supplied or one of the same specification. Failure to do so may result in permanent
damage to the amplifier.
