Attaching the dual feed holder:

* Attach the presser foot to the dual feed holder before
attaching it.
1. Turn the power switch on. Press the lockout key to lockout
the machine before replacing the foot holder.
2. Raise the needle by turning the handwheel toward you.
Raise the presser foot with the presser foot lifter.
* Do not use the up/down needle button to raise the needle,
otherwise you cannot raise the presser foot with the presser
foot lifter in procedure 6 below.
3. Loosen the setscrew with the screwdriver. Remove the
presser foot holder.
4. Tighten the thumbscrew lightly to attach the dual feed holder
temporalily.
5. Push the dual feed link to engage it with upper feed drive
until it clicks.
6. Lower the presser foot lifter. Lower the presser foot lifter
slowly. Turn the handwheel toward you to lower the needle
bar at its lowest position.
7. Loosen the thumbscrew slightly. Be sure that dual feed
foot is pressed to the needle plate firmly, and tighten the
thumbscrew.
