Before use

Excessive use is detrimental to the skin.
Start by using the appliance  to  times a week. Thereafter, adjust the
frequency and duration of use while observing the skin condition.
If any skin problem develops, stop using immediately.
Recommended usage is once per day.
Your skin condition also may differ depending on your health.
(Skin is particularly sensitive on days when peeling (removal of corneum)
is performed.)
Use the appliance while observing the condition of the skin.
If you experience any skin discomfort, such as rash, redness, or itching,
stop using and consult a physician.
Skin problems may be caused by stress, constitution, organic disorders, or
cosmetics. If problems occur, consult a specialist.
The appliance may generate noise (distorted images and/or sounds) and
interference with nearby TV or radio receivers.
Keep the appliance away from your TV receiver or radio receiver and use a
different power outlet.
When the appliance is used for the first time, some water may remain around the
water supply tank. This is residual water used for inspection in the factory, and
does not cause any sanitation problems.
Preparation

Set the waterproof sheet by aligning the pitted part of the sheet
to the appliance.
Place the appliance on a flat surface, such as a desk,
where water droplets would not cause a problem.
Place the appliance on a flat, level surface; otherwise,
the appliance will not operate because of the inclination
switch.
Set the waterproof sheet so that it does not cover the
appliance.
If the waterproof sheet is not placed, the surface of the
desk may be covered with water droplets from the mist.
Do not expose the steam to the waterproof sheet.
(Direct exposure may cause deformation of the sheet.)

Open the cover with your hand.
Use the appliance after opening the cover completely (up to the position
where the cover stops).
If the cover fails to open completely, the appliance will not operate because
of the safety device.
