Installing a drive in bay 1 or bay 2
This section provides instructions on how to install a drive in bay 1 or bay 2.
To install a drive in bay 1 or bay 2:
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 14.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Removing and installing the front bezel" on page
3. If there is a metal static shield installed in the drive bay, remove the metal
4. If you are installing a drive with accessible media, such as an optical drive,
