Hold the camera steadily in both hands.
• Keep fingers, hair, and other objects away from the lens
or flash.

Frame the picture.

The zoom operation
Rotate the zoom control
• To enlarge the subject: rotate the
zoom control to
T
(tele).
• To capture a wide area: rotate the
zoom control to
W
(wide).
The zoom position is set at the
maximum wide-angle position when
the camera is turned on.
• Point the camera at the object (subject) you want to take a picture of.
• When a face is framed by a yellow double border, the camera has detected that face.
When the camera detects more than one face, a double border will be displayed around
the face closest to the camera, and other faces will each be framed with a single border.
