Chapter 7: Registration & Account Information
Registration:
Once the device has been configured for the network and the cellular phone, it needs to be
activated with the PocketSurfer ISP service. The first time you log into the service, you will
be presented with a screen that requires a User Name and Password of your choice,
followed by credit card information for monthly billing of the wireless Internet Service.
Click on the link to open a new account. On the new-user registration form, insert your First
Name and Last Name. Please review the section on General Operation to learn how to
enter text and navigate between text-boxes.
After inserting your name, choose a Nickname/Username and Password.
The Nickname and Password are necessary to be able to access personal account settings
on the server, including your billing information.
After clicking on 'Register' the next screen asks for your address and billing information.
The billing information can be subsequently changed in the future by accessing the secure
area with your username and password.
After clicking on 'Update', the registration will be completed.
Device Replacement:
If you are replacing your device with a new one, because of loss or servicing, you can
maintain your settings (address, billing information, favorites & cookies) by associating the
device with your existing account.
By inserting the requisite information, your account will be associated with the new device.
