Flick the status bar downwards from across the top of the
screen to open the Notification Panel, where you can see
Upcoming event
Song is playing
Downloading data
Content downloaded and
installed successfully

USB tethering is on
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot is on
New Wi-Fi network detected
