Operating instructions for
folding booms
1� Starting with the boom in the closed
position (Fig�1), pull each wing against the
spring in an out and down manner until
open and resting against the stop plate with
the adjustment bolt�
2� With both wings folded out into the open
position, (Fig� 2) check that boom is aligned
correctly�
3� If not aligned correctly, adjust position
with the adjustment bolts as necessary�
4� The 3 metre folding boom folds vertically
and the 8 & 10 Mt metre models includes
flip over ends that should be folded into the
open position prior to operation�

Folding boom lubrication
Folding booms have a grease nipple fitted
at each pivot point� Grease these points
regularly with quality multi purpose grease�
