Connect the main plug into a suitable 13 amp mains socket, make sure the voltage is the same as on the rating label (do not use
extension cables or mains socket adaptors). The microwave oven will beep once and the display will show the clock symbol
in the top right of the screen and the time '1:01' will be displayed.
Setting the clock ( 12 or 24 hour)
Before setting a cooking programme the clock needs to be set. For example, if you want to set the time to 8:30.
1)
Press the 'Clock' button. The display will show '24H', press again and the display will show '12H', the red clock symbol will be
displayed in the top right corner.
2)
To set the hour, turn the 'Weight/Time' dial clockwise until the display shows '8:' and the red clock symbol will remain illuminated.
The dial can be turned clockwise to increase the numbers or turn it anticlockwise to go back to a lower number.
3)
Press the 'Clock' button. The display will show '8:00' and the red clock symbol will remain illuminated.
4)
To set the minutes, turn the 'Weight/Time' dial clockwise until the display shows '8:30'. The dial can be turned clockwise to increase
the numbers or turn it anticlockwise to go back to a lower number.
5)
Press the 'Clock' button to confirm. The clock is now set. The colon symbol ':' will continue to flash whilst the red clock symbol
remains lit.
To reset the time of day, repeat step 1 through to step 5.
The clock will remain set as long as the microwave is plugged in the socket and electricity is being supplied. In the instance of a power cut in
your home, please reset the time following the above instructions when your power returns.
