1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the MicW L-Series of professional
microphones. We have been producing high quality
microphones for test, measurement and studio
recording for over 10 years. Our unique knowledge
of diaphragm technology has enabled us to offer you
very high quality products for audio applications.
The L-Series is MicW''s new professional Lavalier
range. With compact size and superior EMI
protection, the microphones deliver maximum
performance in situations where such a device needs
to be practically invisible. The Omni and Cardioid
pick-up patterns produce a warm and clear sound,
which makes the L-Series a well-suited, reliable
partner.
2. OPERATIONAL SAFETY
L-Series microphones use pre-polarized capsules that
are tested both at high temperatures and in very humid
conditions for over 24 hours prior to factory release.
The microphones are very resistant to temperature and
humidity. They can be safely operated in temperatures
ranging from -20℃ to 50℃ and in up to 95% humidity.
3. POWER SUPPLY
The L-Series has been designed with a Microdot
connector. MicW also provides several breakout
adaptors (see Microphone Installation) for a wide
range of wireless systems or XLR input applications.
4.APPLICATIONS
The omnidirectional L825 and cardioid L855 Lavalier
microphones are recommended for on air presentation
and video production. They are also durable enough for
ENG use. Their compact size makes them highly suitable
for a range of applications.

For optimum performance results, the Lavalier microphone
should be positioned as closely as possible to the
sound source, so as not to be affected by clothing rustle.
Ensure that the mic is pointing towards the user's mouth.
Sometimes it may even be better to place the mic upside
down to avoid "popping" effects.
