Cause
Dull Blades.
Mower not level.

Solution
Replace blades.
Adjust machine.
Reduce ground speed.
Free blades.
Change blade pairs for correct rotation blades
Allow grass to dry before cutting. Slow ground
speed of tractor but keep engine running at full
PTO rpm.
Sharpen or replace blades.
Clean area between skids. Raise cutting height.
Change blade pairs for correct rotation blades
Run in or gear failure.
Replace bearing.
Replace seal.
Replace oil seal and shaft.
Replace seal or use a sealant on OD of seal.
Drain oil to proper level.
Replace gasket.
Tighten bolts.
Reduce tilt.
Increase engine speed to run PTO at 540 rpm.
Make sure that arrow on knife upper face is
pointing in the direction of rotation of the disc.
Check belt for correct tension.
Replace blades.
Level three point arms
Change cutter bar angle using tractor top link.
Adjust compensating spring tension.
Level three point arms
Adjust main frame height by shortening safety
chain as necessary.
Adjust compensating spring tension.

Replace with new Belleville washer part no.
