Reconnect the new water line to the
water pickup tube.
Connect a short tube to the speed
control and to the right side of the
brushless motor.
Connectthereceiverplugtothethrottlechannelonthereceiverandyouarereadytogo.
The Rivos comes with the receiver failsafe set to NONE. In the event of loss of signal the motor will
stopandtheboatwilldrift.Ifthesignalisregainednormalfunctionwillreturn.Ifyouwishtoprogram
thefailsafetoacustomsettingjustfollowthesesimplesteps:
WithboththetransmitterandreceiverpoweredON,pressthebindbuttononthereceiver 
for about 3 seconds.
ThereceiverwillenterthefailsafesettingmenuandthereceiverLEDwillflash.
Youhaveabout3secondstomovethecontrolstothepositionthatyouwishtoprogram 
into failsafe.
Afterthe3secondsthereceiverwillsavethesettingsandreturntonormalmode.
Ifyouwishtoresettoadifferentsetting,simplyrepeattheabovesteps.
TheRivosspeedcontrolisequippedwithalowvoltagecutoff(LVC)circuit.WhentheNiMhbattery
voltagedropsto5.6Vthespeedcontrolwillshutoffpowertothemotor.Motorfunctioncanbe
restoredbycyclingthethrottletriggeroffandthenbackonatalowpowersetting.Youmustcease
operatingtheboatandrechargethedrivebattery.Repeatedlyattemptingtocontinueoperationmay
dropthebatteryvoltagetodamaginglevels.

Connect the new water line to the 40A
brushless speed control.
Feed the other short tube through the
sideofthehullandconnecttotheleft
side of the brushless motor.
