IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, below safety precautions should be followed:

Warning: Not following the instructions below may result in electric shock, electricity leakage, fire or serious personal injury
• Please do not modify, disassemble or repair hair dryer. Please contact SHARP service centre for repair.
• Please do not bend, pull or twist the power plug and cord.
• Stop using the hair dryer if power socket, plug and cord are damaged.
• Please do not use extension cord or share the power plug with other electrical appliances.
• Always switch off the hair dryer after use, and unplug it from the power socket.
• Always grasp the plug while unplugging, please do not pull the power cord.
• Please do not wrap the cord around the hair dryer.
• Please do not place objects on the hair dryer or cord.
• Please do not use or place the hair dryer in an area with high temperature.
• Please do not use the hair dryer near inflammable materials such as benzene, paint thinner, sprays, etc.
• Make sure hair or wire does not get sucked into the air inlet or air outlet.
• Please do not leave when the hair dryer is working.
• Stop using and unplug the hair dryer if abnormal situation or malfunction happened as follow, please contact
SHARP service centre for repair.
• Inside become red or smoke generated.
• Power plug and cord deformed or damaged.
• Abnormal situation or malfunction happened.
• Warning: "Do not use this hair dryer near water"
• Please do not touch and use the hair dryer while your hands are wet and do not use or place the hair dryer
near bathtubs, basins or other vessels containing water or in an area with high humidity.
• Please unplug the hair dryer after using in the bathroom.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Indoor use only.
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted waste. Contact your local
government for information regarding the collection facilities. If electrical appliances
are disposed in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances may leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, harming your health and well-being.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
Caution: Not following the instructions below may result in injury or loss of property.
• Please keep the hair dryer properly and away from baby.
• Please do not use the hair dryer by holding any part other than the handle of the dryer.
• Avoid dropping or knocking the hair dryer with other objects.
• Please keep distance from the hair when using hair dryer and make sure hair does not get sucked into the
air inlet and air outlet.
• Please do not use the hair dryer if the back cover is damaged.
• Please do not use products with fluororesin or silicone near the hair dryer, otherwise fluororesin or silicone
may be attached internal part of hair dryer and Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) may not be generated. In this
situation, please clean the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit (E-6).
