Writing to a memory card or Blu-ray Disc/DVD

Described here are the methods for copying AVCHD Progressive/AVCHD/AVCHD Lite motion pictures or MPEG2 motion pictures from a PC to
a memory card, a Blu-ray Disc or DVD.
Important
Memory cards and DVDs recorded in AVCHD standard using this software can only be played back on AVCHD-compatible devices. Blu-ray Discs
recorded with [Compatibility Priority] or [Picture Quality Priority] using this software can only be played back on Blu-ray Disc-compatible devices.
(AVCHD motion pictures cannot be played back on ordinary DVD players that are not compatible with the AVCHD standard.)
- For the latest information on AVCHD Progressive compatible devices, refer to the following support site.
http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/ (This site is in English only.)
Do not insert the discs into non-compatible device as the discs may not be able to be ejected or the device may delete data on the disc after
displaying a message prompting disc formatting. Also, because the file system for AVCHD and BD-RE is in UDF 2.5 format and that for BD-R is in
UDF 2.6 format, the files on the disc cannot be checked on a PC using Explorer unless a file system driver that supports the corresponding format is
installed.
For DVD-R with dual layer on a single side, motion pictures may be frozen or sounds may be inaudible for a moment when shifting from the first
layer to the second layer, depending on the player.
Do not delete, revise, or move the folders on the discs or the files in the folders. The data may not play back.
The top menu can be displayed only on playback devices capable of playing back the top menu.
Tips
MPEG2 motion pictures cannot be written on memory cards.
