    Do not expose the device to aggressive gas and do not use the telephone in too dusty environments. Never use the telephone in presence of any explosive gas (e.g. methane). Refrain from opening any parts of the V-IP400 and do not touch the plugs with metal or sharp objects.

The product is covered by warranty only if it is used in compliance with the guidelines contained in this manual. This warranty will be invalidated in case of manumission, wrong use of the product or accidental damage.

    This warranty is only valid within the European Community. 3. General Information V-IP400 is a stand-alone device that requires no connection to a PC to make phone calls. As well as providing the same features of a traditional telephone, V-IP400 supports both data and voice through the IP network.

    If you want to set the DHCP mode press key “2” (on the keypad) for 3 seconds. If DHCP is disabled the default static IP address of the phone is 192.168.1.179. If you want to change the V-IP400 IP address (nb: only in STATIC mode) enter the phone Menu using the default password (123). Go to Network IP and press “DEL”.

The administrator default login data are: Username: admin, Password: admin. If you want to modify administrator username and password you can do so from the System Manage Account config page.

    SPEED 5.2. Current state This page contains information about the telephone status: Network includes V-IP400 network details: IP address type (static or DHCP), MAC address and IP address. VoIP includes details concerning the SIP protocol (VOIP SIP), such as register server IP address and registration status.

    The V-IP400 display shows the current IP address assignment mode. The embedded switch doesn’t need to be configured. You can connect to the V-IP400 PC port any IP device (PC, IP phone) with either a dynamic or static IP address.

  • Page 18 The “digital map table” lists a number of dial rules. As soon as the recipient‘s number matches a V-IP400 dial rule, the call towards this number starts immediately, regardless of what has been previously defined in the “digital map configuration”.

This feature is particularly useful when all outgoing calls must be routed through an IVR or an operator.

These 10 keys can be used as quick call buttons, allowing you to make new calls as well as showing (with their lamps) the state of each user.
