1. No power to the system at all. Power light does not illuminate, fan inside power supply does not turn
on. Indicator light on keyboard does not turn on.

Plug in device known to work
in socket and test
Turn off computer. Take cover
off system unit. Check the
DIMM to ensure it is securely
seated in the slot

Make sure power cable is
securely plugged in.
Replace cable
Contact technical support
Use different socket repair
outlet, reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse
Using even pressure on both
ends of the DIMM, press
down firmly until the module
enaps into place
