NO DISPLAY APPEARS
WHEN THE CAMERA IS

RELEASED
FLASH PICTURE IS TOO

TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSE
Batteries are loaded incorrectly
Batteries are exhausted
Camera malfunction
Situation is unsuitable for
autofocus
Camera is set to the manual
focus mode
Subject is too close
Focus can not be confirmed
Subject is beyond flash range

SOLUTION
Remove and reinsert the
batteries.
If the camera battery is
exhausted, install a new battery.
Turn the camera off, then remove
and reinsert the batteries.
If normal operation does not
resume or the camera
malfunctions repeatedly, contact
an authorized Minolta Service
Facility.
Use focus hold or manual focus.
Set to the autofocus mode by
pressing the focus mode button.
Check the minimum focus
distance for your lens.
Use focus hold, or manual focus.
Make sure the subject is within
the flash range.
