To connect the Sinocan P11-USL printer to a Windows 11 computer for printing, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Printer: Plug the DC power cord into the printer and connect the printer to the computer using a USB or serial port.
2. Turn On the Printer: Power on the printer.
3. Wait for Windows to Detect: Windows will display a "Found New Hardware" notification.
4. Install the Driver: - Open the "Add Printer" wizard. - If prompted, choose "Install From Disk" and insert the installation disk or specify the driver location. - If your printer is not listed, click “Have Disk” and browse to the driver files.
5. Select Printer Model: Choose “Sinocan” as the manufacturer and “P11-USL” as the printer model.
6. Choose the Right Port: In the printer properties, go to the "Ports" tab and select the correct port, such as "COM3: Serial Port."
7. Test the Printer: Click “Print Test Page” to verify the setup.
Make sure the driver used matches the P11-USL model and that the port selection matches the physical connection.
