3.7 Software Upgrade Screen
Use this screen to upgrade firmware for the MAX-706. To upgrade firmware you must have a
firmware file on your computer.

DESCRIPTION
This displays the type of inner authentication to be used.
This field is only relevant when TTLS is selected in the Authentication field.
The MAX-706 supports the following inner authentication types:
•
PAP (Password Authentication Protocol)
•
CHAP (Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol)
•
MSCHAP (Microsoft CHAP)
•
MSCHAP2 (Microsoft CHAP version 2)
Select the authentication mode from the drop-down list box.
The MAX-706 supports the following authentication modes:

None
•
User Only
•
Device Only With Cert
•
Certs and User authentication
Click this button to save your profile settings.
Click this to close this screen and back to the main screen.

Click this to browse to the folder that has the file you will use for the
software upgrade. You can also type the location of the file too.
Click this after selecting a folder to upgrade the MAX-706 firmware.
Click this to exit the screen without making any changes.
