The following example shows you how to configure settings to join a wireless WiMAX
network and access the Internet using the ZyXEL utility.

2.1 Connecting to the Internet

There are two parts to this example, as follows:
1 Set up your user name, password and authentication settings (in the Authentication
screen).
2 Confirm the connection (in the Main screen).
To access the Internet, you need information from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) about
your account and the network. In this example, your ISP has given you the following
information about your account:

2.1.1 Import a Certificate File

You have to import a certification file given by your WiMAX service provider. See
A on page 45. However, you can skip this step if you are not given any.

2.1.2 Set Up Your Authentication Details

After you install the ZyXEL utility and then insert the MAX-706 (see the Quick Start Guide
for details) follow the steps below to set up your user name and password.
